Don Yost has been a real estate broker in the Berkeley, Emeryville, and Oakland commercial market for over 40 years. In addition to brokerage, Don has been active in formulating zoning and planning issues in Berkeley, serving for 13 years on the West Berkeley Plan, on the Mayor's planning and zoning task force, and on the City of Berkeley Planning Commission. He has successfully represented many clients before the Zoning Adjustments Board and the Berkeley City Council.

Steve Smith joined Norheim & Yost in 2001. He has worked and lived in West Berkeley since 1991 and is very familiar with the East Bay real estate marketplace. His background is in construction, metal fabrication, furniture prototyping and production, project management, structural engineering, and he holds a degree in architecture from UC Berkeley.
